What KORLENS is
KORLENS is a curated Korea travel guide focused on what English-language guides miss: hidden restaurants, neighborhood-specific advice, accessibility details, and the kind of context that comes from living here, not reading other guidebooks.
Why we exist
Most international Korea guides recommend the same 30 places. They miss the difference between Hongdae weekday and Hongdae weekend, the actual etiquette that prevents foreigner-tax pricing at markets, and the practical knowledge a friend who lives here would share.
KORLENS aims to be that friend.
How we curate
- Local picks — submissions from locals who know specific neighborhoods well.
- Editorial review — every submission gets reviewed before publishing for accuracy and usefulness.
- Traveler types — content tagged for solo travelers, couples, families, and accessibility needs.
- AI-assisted refinement — we use AI to translate and structure content, but humans verify and curate.
Who runs KORLENS
KORLENS is operated by KunStudio, a solo founder studio based in Korea (business registration 552-59-00848).
