1. Service description
KORLENS provides Korea travel information including hidden picks, regional guides, accommodation listings, and AI-assisted travel advice. The service is provided "as is" without warranty.
2. Acceptance
By using KORLENS, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
3. Account & responsibilities
- You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
- You agree to provide accurate information when contributing picks.
- You will not use the service for unlawful purposes, spam, or harassment.
- You will not attempt to compromise the security or operation of the service.
4. User-submitted content
When you submit picks, photos, or other content:
- You retain ownership of your content.
- You grant KORLENS a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and adapt the content for the purpose of operating the service.
- You confirm you have the right to submit the content and it doesn't infringe anyone else's rights.
- We may remove content that violates these terms or applicable law.
5. Travel information disclaimer
- Information about places, prices, hours, and accessibility is collected from public sources and user contributions. It may be outdated or inaccurate.
- Always verify critical details (hours, reservations, accessibility) directly with the venue before traveling.
- KORLENS is not a travel agency, tour operator, or accommodation booking service.
6. AI-assisted features
The chat assistant uses third-party AI models (Anthropic). Output may be inaccurate or incomplete. Don't rely on AI output for safety-critical decisions (medical, legal, transportation safety). Don't share sensitive personal information in AI chat.
7. Intellectual property
Original KORLENS content (curated guides, written content, design) is owned by KunStudio and protected by copyright. You may share with attribution but not republish in bulk without permission.
8. Liability limits
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- KORLENS is not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising from your use of the service.
- Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the past 12 months (or 50,000 KRW, whichever is greater).
- We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.
9. Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. We will provide reasonable notice except for serious violations.
10. Governing law & disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the Seoul Central District Court (서울중앙지방법원), unless mandatory consumer protection laws of your country require otherwise.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
